The centrifugal separator is mainly composed of two parts: sorting mechanism and auxiliary mechanism.

(1) Sorting mechanism. The drum of the centrifugal separator is its sorting structure, the drum is a hollow cone, the inner surface slope of the drum is 3° ~ 5°, it can be made of cast steel, cast iron or glass steel, etc., the drum is fixed on the shaft through the chassis, and rotates with the shaft.

(2) Auxiliary institutions. The auxiliary mechanism of the centrifugal separator is more, which is mainly composed of several main parts such as the ore feeding device, the ore discharging device, the washing device and their action program control device. The main working parts of the horizontal centrifugal separator are the truncated cone drum, the half cone Angle is 3° ~ 5°, and it is fixed on the horizontal axis with the help of the chassis, which is driven by the motor through the triangle belt.

Working principle
The rotary drum of the centrifugal separator rotates at a certain speed, and the pulp is fed into the inner wall of the rotary drum in two places by the feed separator through the feed nozzle. The pulp rotates at a high speed with the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the heavy minerals are deposited on the inner wall of the drum and rotate together with the drum. The light ore particles in the pulp rotate with the drum at a certain differential speed. After 3 minutes of sorting, the ore feeder will automatically turn to the position of discharging concentrate and stop feeding ore to the rotating drum. After the tailings are discharged, the ore feeder will automatically turn away from the original normal position to prepare for intercepting concentrate, and then the high pressure washing water valve will automatically open, and the high pressure washing water will flush down the concentrate deposited on the inner wall of the rotating drum. After the concentrate is flushed, the high pressure water valve will automatically close. The discharge separator and feed separator automatically reset to start the next sorting cycle.
